Ana Apolônia

Clinical Psychologist from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Lisbon, Master in Family Therapy from the University of California. She is the director of CEFA – Center for Family Studies and Psychotherapy, where she has been practicing individual, couple and family therapy for more than two decades and being part of the multidisciplinary team for the treatment of eating disorders at Sta Catarina de Siena Clinic.

She is a supervisor of Family Therapy at SPTF – Portuguese Society of Family Therapy and has been the director of the South and Islands Delegation since 2012. Shas developed a special interest in the area of couple´s therapy and the use of metaphors in therapy, and is currently responsible for the Post-specialization course in couple therapy at SPTF.
