Ana is a Clinical Psychologist from Brazil with experience in deinstitutionalization of persons who have been in psychiatric hospitals for a long time and the implementation of public community-based mental health services. Her scholarship focuses on the Open Dialogue approach and other dialogic practices, Human Rights/Capabilities, and the role of lived experience in transforming systems, practices and conceptions of mental health. She is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health working in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
