Susana Ramalho

Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Master in Psychology – Stress and Wellness at the University of Lisbon. PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Lisbon and University of Coimbra, with the thesis “Educating (n) a Conjugality: Psychosocial variables in promoting dyadic adjustment, relational quality and personal well-being”. After two decades of work in a clinical, community and training context, she has been an Invited Assistant Professor at the FCH- Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 2017, integrating the Institute of Family Sciences of the same University. Researcher at the Catolica Research Center for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing, she currently coordinates the “Ser Casal” project and is part of the “CUIDAR” project – For a culture of protection and good treatment of Children and Youth. Her main areas of research are in the fields of well-being and human relations, studying in particular several dimensions that promote well-being in couple relationships. In this area, she is co-author of several articles and of an international book chapter, having presented oral communications on the topic in many scientific meetings.
